Couple Make Argue, Five Houses Destroyed

Phnom Penh: A fire destroyed five houses in Boengsalang district, Tuolkork commune at 10:30 pm on 14-Mach-2007. People there said that the fire happened after couple of a family had argued and the husband burst into anger, burning a motor cycle in his own house that spread the fire through the house.While the houses were on fire, the police chief Touch Naroth and his colleagues went to the scene with many fire engines to intervene by spraying the water to stop the fire. The local police said that the owner of the house that started the fire is a 48- year-old doctor whose name Chan Tha. After causing damage, the family escaped. The fire damaged two wooden houses and three houses built of concrete down stair and wood upstairs. Besides the houses, two motor cycles of the owner of the houses were completely consumed by fire.
