Cruel man chopped his wife with an axe

Kompong Speu: A man was caught and sent to court for chopping his wife. The violence happened at 6:10 in the evening of 29th April 2007 in Dom Dek village, Prey Nhheat commune, Korng Pisey district, Kompong Speu provicne.Police base at Korng Pisey police station said that the cruel man who chopped his wife was Chheung Leum,48, and his wife Sao Som, 49. Police added that Chheung Leum had an argument with his wife after he returned from drinking. While having argument, Chheung Leum told his wife to pass the water container to him but his wife threw it to him making him very angry. Could not control his anger, Chheng Leum took an axe and chopped his wife on the head. His wife was seriously injured and sent to hospital. The criminal was caught immediately after the violence.
