Dengue Fever Cases Double Increase Comparing 2006

July 12, 2007: A joint announcement between Cambodia Health Ministry (CHM) and World Health Organization (WHO) informed that dengue fever cases will continue to increase if communities do not set cooperate measurements to control this disease. According to data composed by CHM, there are 14,827 dengue patients have come to hospital and 182 dengue patients have died in the first six moths of 2007. The number of dengue death in the first six moths of 2007 is more double increased if compare to death cases in first six moths in 2006.
