District Police Arrest two Ak Robbers, one Escapes

Phnom Penh: Sen Sok district and Phnom Penh Thmey police arrested two suspects of robbery on Tuesday at around 7:30 while they were about to rob a villager in Phnom Penh Thmey village, Phnom Penh Thmey commune, Sen Sok district. Police confiscated an AK rifle with 17 bullets, a cleaver, and a piece of plastic which all of these were put in a sack. The first suspect known as Chea Vuthy is a 22-year-old construction worker from Pursat province and Chen Rotha, 28, is a Kampongchnang man. Police said that the other suspect escaped after a local villager had informed police.
