Thursday, February 28, 2008
27 February, 08: Judges and co-prosecutors of Extra-ordinary Chamber in the Court of Cambodia brought former Tuol Sleng prison president Kaing Guek Eav alias Duch to see his past genocide prison. The Museum compound was defended strictly by police and not allowed anyone beside ECCC’s judges and prosecutors to get in. A journalist was captured when he sneaked to shoot picture of Duch from an upper house, but after he was released. ECCC spokesman Reach Sambath said that Duch was taken to see buildings, pictures and around the prison compound. And he was not required to re-act his cruel action like he did at Jerng Ek Genocide Center the day before.
