ECCC Rejects Nuon Chea’s Bid

March 20, 08: Extra-ordinary Chamber in the Court of Cambodia decided to put senior Khmer Rouge Leader Nuon Chea in detention on. The ECCC also announced that the hearing of former Minister of Affair ministry Ieng Tearith and brother No2 Kiev Sampan will be hosted on April 21-23. This hearing was taken at the same time that the Khmer Rouge tribunal would not have more finance to continue. The ECCC hope the United Nation and Cambodian government will contribute money in time.
