Eight Arrested, Several Others Injure in Police Crack Down

22 February, 08: At least eight people were arrested and several others injured in a crack down facing between police and people in Bonla Sa Et village, Khan Russei Keo, Phnom Penh. Police intervened with guns and riffles in hand following warrant of Supreme Court. And people held machetes and axes facing with police. The event was like a small battle that police also fired to threaten people to leave from their home. Police also had two excavators to dismantle people’s house.
