Exhibition: Cambodia in the eyes of a polish painter
Thursday, June 24, 2010
Guido started his journey in the arts at the tender age of 6 and began taking private painting classes at the age of 10 with Telemah Pilitsidis. He pursued his interest at Wroclaw University Academy of Fine Arts, and majored in painting sculpture.
He then did his masters’ degree and graduated with honors.
Since then, he exhibited and worked on commissioned projects all over Poland, Germany and Great Britain. Along the way he mentored children and teenagers who had keen interest in arts. He plans to continue mentoring, to inspire and encourage the generations to come to appreciate arts and paintings.
He participated in 19 exhibitions, 3 of which were solo.
As an artist he experimented with different mediums such as installations, stained glass and ceramics but painting with oil and acrylic remains his preferred tools.
In 2008, he went to South East Asia to find himself. He was inspired by Asian cultures and by its people. He compiled works based on his travels and is now ready for a solo exhibition.
