Father Attempted to Rape his Step Daughter

Phnom Penh: A 34-year-old man was arrested on Wednesday afternoon by Russeykeo district police after his 16-year-old step daughter Sok Thy sued him, police officer said Thursday. According police, the accused Kong Ravuth forced his step daughter to take off her clothes in order to check her vagina many times at her grandmother’s house, in Russeykeo commune. When she disagreed, he tortured her. The victim told police that his step father usually came to her grandma’s house and made her defrock whenever her grandma was not at home. After the arrest, the man confessed that he did not rape her, just checked her vagina. The man has a mental problem, his family said.
