Father Rapes his Daughter 20 Times

Kandal Province: Sim Sombath, 41, was arrested by police on August 26 after his wife and daughter filed a complaint with the local authority, accusing him of raping his 20-year-old daughter on August 25 in Kandal Stung district’s Bakou commune. According to the complaint against him, the man raped his daughter 20 times since they lived in Battambang province’s Samlot district. The last rape happened at 6:30 p.m. on 25th Aug when her mother, known as Suon Sokun, was out to take a doctor to treat her sick younger brother at home. The victim said that the previous rapes were often done whenever her mother was out to the neighbors’ house. After every rape, her father threatened to kill her if what happened was known.
