Fish dies in Tonle Sap River

Phnom Penh: possibly because of factory waste that has flowed into Tonle Sap River caused fish died on Tuesday evening, an official said Wednesday.
Villagers said that by 11 pm tones of fish died and floated to the surface of Tonle Sap River.
The villagers’ representative said that fish has died of industrial waste about two tones for eight years, but this year there is too much fish died.
Villagers said that after known that the river had been polluted, floating homes in Chraing Chamreh II commune, Russei Keo district were moved at around 8 pm Tuesday.
