Flee 9 Years, Arrested When Came back

Phnom Penh: Prek Bra station police arrested a man, who was suspected of involving a rape case in the early 2000. According to police and the warrant, the accused known as Cab Sokkul, 26, lives in Ou Andoung village, Meanchey district’s Prek Bra commune. The man raped a 14-year-old woman in Jan and May 2000 in a banana field when she was on her way to school and he escaped to live in Oudor Meanchey province almost nine year. The suspect was apprehended when he returned home on 18 June. The defendant Cab Sokkul said that he did not get successful in this rape attempting.
