Four Foreign People Detained for Drug

Phnom Penh: Three Taiwanese and a Vietnamese woman was detained by Phnom Penh police to do further investigation over the drug produce in Phnom Penh city. The four: Yang Sunfat, 33, Chay Mingcheu, 38, Chung fang, 42 and Vietnamese woman Chan Thy, 35 were arrested by Anti-drug department police of the Ministry of interior working with the local authorities on 23 February in Boeng Kork II commune, Phnom Penh’s Tuol Kork district. Meanwhile police confiscated some illegal drugs, tools for producing drugs, and a gun. Chinese authority had issued a warrant to arrest two of the three Taiwanese in 2007.
