Phnom Penh: On Friday, at 7PM there will be a film screening (Fundraiser for Cambodian Homeless Football World Cup Team). There are one billion homeless people living in our world today. The “Homeless World Cup” is an annual, international football tournament, uniting people who are homeless and excluded to take part in a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to represent their country and change their lives forever. Join us for a sneak preview of a new doc film in the making by Mik La Vage. It captures images of Khmer players at the Homeless World Cup in Melbourne 2008. The film will be followed by a showing/auctioning of art by children from orphanages participating in this program. The evening will finish with DJ JIMMY SALSA playing Latin music to get you dancing until late.
