Gangsters Rob at Midnight

Svay Rieng province: A group of about 10 gangsters hided to beat two travelers till unconscious to rob for money at 11:00 p.m. on 31-March-07 at a point of Prey Chamna village, Kasat commune, Kampong Ror district. After robbing, all assailants escaped.
Police said that a victim named Soum Meng, 20, is a student. He was wounded in the head and in the chest seriously. Another victim man named Sou Rum, 21, was wounded in the head 5 centimeters and fell from the bicycle. The both victims live in Tror Pangchlogn village, Gnor commune, Kampong Ror district, Svay Rieng.
The victim Soum Meng said that he lost a necklace. He claimed that among those 10 attackers, he knows one-Tom Yong, 19, that used to study with him in grade 9 at Kampong Ror secondary school.
