Gov’t Announces to Import Pigs

March 27, 08: Prime Minister Hun Sen announced at a pagoda ground-breaking ceremony in Teay Pay commune, Kampong Cham province that he permitted to import pigs from neighboring countries to fulfill demand in the local. “In the recent prohibition of pig importing, it is not a strict economic measurement,” he said, “it was the action to prevent animal diseases to Cambodia.” The importing ban is also a reason that make price of food and other materials increase.
