Government Receives $2.5 Million for Mine Exploration Contract

The government got $2.5 million from Australian investors for mine exploration. This much money was received because the government exchanged for awarding a bauxite exploration contract to Australian investors, Minister of Water Resources Lim Kea Hor told the national Assembly on Tuesday.
Lim Kean Hor added that the Cambodia royal government got tea money, $2.5 million, from the bauxite Australian investors and the money would be used to run an irrigation project in Pursat province.
According to Lim Kean Hor, the Prime Minister Hun Sen who called him from Australia felt happy of this good news and urging Lim Kean Hor to start immediately running an irrigation project in Pursat province, and to spend $2 million on the project.
