Grenade Attack, Under Threatening Suspicion

July 21, 2007: There was a grenade attack at 11:30pm in a house of Mr. Sat Savuth, 42, after he and his family had safely left the house. The explosion happened in Ou Run village, Tlat commune, Udor Meanchey province. Mr. Sat Savuth said that after he saw unidentified several men in dark behind his house as he walked to urinate, he doubted bad action of those men. After that he and his wife with four children decided to leave the house. Villagers said that the attack is to threaten Mr. Sat Savuth of joining actively in conservation of community forest which is being cut down freely.
