Hard Rain Floods Thousand Hectares of Rice in Banteaymeanchay

Banteaymeanchay Province: A few days rain water has flooded rice crop in five communes in Phnom Sruk district when some other districts have small effect of natural disaster. Around 7.550 hectares of rice crop are under water in Spean Sreng, Phnom Dy, Nam Tao commune, and the other 100 hectares in Srah Choeuk and Boycha commune are also inundated, said Banteaymeanchay province governor. Phnom Sruk district chief Kichuong complained that the above communes experienced drought and after that the flood comes.
