Bantaymeanchay Province: Hard rain with storm and lightning destroyed three wooden houses at 4 pm on 27 May 2007 in Koul Chroeng village, Som Ruong district’s Som Ruong commune, Bantaymeanchay province. Although the three houses were completely destroyed, but on one got injure in the incident.

A 39-year- old widow with four children known as Yim savoeun said that her house was one of the fallen ones. She added that before the incident she and her child were cooking about five meters from her big house when the rain with storm and lightning came that caused three houses fallen down, but fortunately, no one got injure or died from the incident.
