Health Ministry: Over Two Thousand Clinics Are Unlawful

Mr. Preim Nourun, deputy director of Medical and Food Department, said in a seminar prepared by his department and Ministry of Health that Cambodia has over three thousands clinics nationwide among which over two thousand are not legally permitted. Over one hundred unlawful clinics locate in Phnom Penh and Committee of False Medicine has put measurements subsequently. There were roughly 60 doctors and nurses from all 24 provinces and towns attended. He added that the seminar was held in attempt to control and manage private services effectively. The private service was an intricate problem though the Health Ministry has severely taken care of this sector.
