Heng Pov’s Verdict Delayed again

March 28, 08: Phnom Penh Municipal Court announced to delay verdict of defendant Heng Pov and other four former police officers conspiring with him whom were charged with murder after a hearing with Mr. Chay Kong as councils president. It is not the first time of delaying Heng Pov’s verdict. The victim Mr. Kem Daravuth, 44, was the former head of electricity brand in Sangkut Chakangre Krom. In 2005, he was shot once into the neck while he was waiting to pick up his children from school. Until now Heng Pov has been charged with five cases in which he was sentenced four years and five months in jail.
