The Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport, UNESCO Office in Phnom Penh and Global Campaign for Education (GCE)—a globally recognized NGO network—will host a national launch of the 2010 Education For All Global Monitoring Report (GMR) Reaching the Marginalized on 26 April, 2010.

On 19 January 2010, Mr. Ban Ki-moon, Secretary-General of the United Nations, and Ms. Irina Bokova, Director-General of UNESCO, launched the 2010 GMR Reaching the Marginalized at the UN headquarters. The 2010 GMR warns that there will be a lost generation of children if they are denied the right to education. The Report examines who these children are, why they are left behind, and also, how to reach these marginalized groups.

The EFA Global Action Week is organized and funded by DVV International, Save the Children Norway, UNESCO, NGO Education Partnership, Voluntary Service Overseas, World Vision Cambodia, ActionAid, Aide et Action, Disability Action Council, CARE, Australian Red Cross, AusAID, USAID, World Education, Deaf Development Program, PLAN International, Shanti Volunteer Association, and GCE International in partnership with a large group of local and international NGOs working in the education sector in Cambodia.
