Hou Van not Sure in Court Appearing

Phnom Penh: Yem Sovan, the spokes person of the opposition Party Sam Rainsy, said that he is not clear that lawmaker Hou Van will be appear in the Phnom Penh court, who asked him to be present on September 9. Lawmaker Hou Van is considering and now he is in the United States. If the lawmaker does not appear in the court, he will be sentenced in absentia. 22 top officers accused Hou Van of libel in April after he criticized them connecting to their graduation. So far three Sam Raisy Party lawmakers, including Sam Rainsy, were sued by the government.
