Human Rights Party Activist Killed

Kampongcham Province: The chief of Human Rights Party (HRP) in Kandal Chrom commune, Pornhea Kreng district in Kampongcham province was shot to death in the daylight by two armed men. The murdering happened on Friday in Kork Roveang village. Pornhea Kreng district military police chief Miech Men said that the dead man known as Soem Neth, 48, was shot four times in his stomach, dying at the scene, while he was driving his motorbike, taking his aunt from a local pagoda to his house. Police are doing the investigation on the case, Miech Men added.
