Human trafficking crossing Cambodia

Phnom Penh: Interior Ministry staffs stopped the human trafficking by foreigners that attempted to take 200 people to the third country crossing Cambodi. Tou Chhay Sinarith, Information Department Chief of Interior Ministry said on 10 September that with the order from National Police Commissioner and Minister of Interior, police sought and caught foreign human traffickers that took the people from eastern Asia headed for European Union and Australia by crossing Cambodia. The caught human traffickers are 2 Sri Lanka nationals and a Pakistan national. The same case of human trafficking was once terminated in 2002 with 248 victims.
