Illegal Oil Transportation Increases This Year

Today oil is a big issue in Cambodia. The higher price and the illegal transportation increases like ants. A liter of super petroleum casts $1. Angchey, Chhuk, and Bantaymeas district people said that the Kampongsvay block, Meungdom village, Thnort Chungsrorng commune, Kampot province was known there were about six or seven boards contained a lot of illegal oil. The boards have been transporting every day and each board had 9000 liters of oil. “This was our career” said the district people.
The transportation oil by carts can avoid catching from the authorities because the carts drove in field and the authorities were not in this way. So he can earn about $27 a day. He complained that because the rice was destroyed nearly 70% in Kampot province, there were 1,000 people working on illegal oil transportation.
The way for oil transportation included bicycle, cart, motorbike and car had been carrying from Taki’s house to Kbaltumnub Kampongsvay to Kanpongspeu one day four times. And at Cambodia Vietnam border people had been carrying hundred times a day. The kind of this business the people got a little money and the bosses became billionaire.
