Indonesian Artist Brings Painting to Show in Cambodia

An artist from Sumatra area in the south of Indonesia Mr. Vernissage has brought paintings form his country to show in Cambodia. This show is to welcome the establishment of first Indonesia’s Cultural Center in Phnom Penh on December 18, 07. The Indonesian ambassador in Phnom Penh said that the display was the start of an art exchange between Cambodian and Indonesian who are in the same region. Vernissage, born in Yogyakarta province, claimed that all of his paintings reveal the real aspect of art that he has always seen in his home country.
