Inter ministry announces breast feeding for adequate nutrition

Phnom Penh: The using of infant and children products instead of the mother's breast is increasing because of the appearance of those products on the market, said Eng Hout, Health Secreatry of State. Inappropriate children and infant feeding including less breast feeding is the root of lacking nutrition which leads to illness and death, he added. Only breast feeding provides enough nutrition to children while it includes water for the first to six months of infants' life, supplementary food and breast feeding up to 2 years makes better health.
