Khmer- Thai plan to create a parking center for human trafficking victims

Phnom Penh: Every year, about 200 of human trafficking and other labor abuse victims were returned to Cambodia by Thai authority. Hence, in order to solve this serious problem, Cambodia and Thailand plan to create a parking center in Poiy Peit commune, Banteay Meanchey province for getting these victims especially women and children. After the center have been built, Socail affair ministry will train its officers for working in this center. There in the center, career training will be provided for them. Recently, Thai authority has returned 289 victims to Cambodia and there will be 50 victims more to be sent.
