Khmer Krom Accuse Vietnam of Violating Human Rights

Phnom Penh: Some 400 Khmer Krom gathered in Phnom Penh on Tuesday to commemorate Human Rights Day. The Khmer Krom delegation condemned Vietnamese authorities for violating their rights. They said the Khmer Krom were living in their native place in Vietnam. Khmer Krom Community Chief Thach Sitha has called on International Human Rights organizations to put pressure on Vietnam. He said that most of people all over the world have enough freedom today, while the Khmer Krom have been violated by the Vietnamese authorities. Vietnamese side dismissed the accusation.
