Layman arrested for raping girl

Phnom Penh: Police arrested a 75-year-old layman on Tuesday on suspicion of raping a girl, 12, in Phnom Penh’s Russey Keo district. Police said a mother of the girl filed a complain with police accusing her neighbor of raping her daughter twice on Sunday and Monday. The mother said that the suspect lured her daughter to his home and raped her. Police are preparing document to send the suspect of Phnom Penh Municipal Court for further investigation.
