Lightning Kills a Cowboy

Kampot Province: A 15-year-old cowboy, among three in the rice fields, died after the lightning attacked him at around 11:30 A.M. on May 1. Kampong Tralach commune police said that the fatal lightning happened in Koh Phdoa village, Kampong Tralach Khang Lech commune, Kampong Tralach district. The boy named Tan Rotanak. The locals said that the dead victim’s ears bled and his chest turned black because of the lightning strike. The bereaved took the body to celebrate funeral traditionally.
