Lightning Kills a Man in Rice field

Takeo Province: Lightning killed a farmer, dying at the scene when he was doing the harvest in a rice field at around 4:50 P.M. on 21 April in Chom Bork Em village, Romenh commune, Koh Andet district. Koh Andt district police chief Em Vorn said that the dead victim named Hem Toeng 29. The dead man’s wife Moun Yong, 28, said that her and husband were employed to harvest. Her husband was walking behind her while the lightning attacked him. She could not help him because died immediately in the lightning.
