Lightning Kills Cowboy in Rice Field

Prey Veng Province: A 15-year-old boy was killed by the lightning on Tuesday afternoon while he was riding his water buffalo on the way to his home in Kamkar Kuoylich village, Sway Kantor district’s Damreypoun commune. According to Sway Kantor district police, the boy known as Mean Chamroeurn was attacked by the lightning and died immediately at the scene. Buffalo did not suffer any injury. Last year, the lightning killed more than 90 people and this year, as many as 50 victims already died of this lightning.
