Lightning Strike Kills a Boy

Posat Province: A cowboy was killed by the lightning strike with a little rain when he was looking after his cows in the rice fields at 3:30 pm on July 26, 2007 in Ou Preal village, Ba Kan district’s Me Toek commune.
Me Toek commune police chief, Man Torn said that the victim Nhe Sina, 13 lived in Ang Kanh village, Me Toek commune, Ba Kan district. He added that there was a black spot from his chest to his stomach and his body was pale.
On July 26, 2007 at 3:30 pm there were around 30 cow boys and girls and they played in the drizzle meanwhile, the lightning strike attacked the victim, but the others were not injured, he added.
