Lure a girl to Rape, Arrested

Bamtambang Province: A 13-year-old girl was lured to a corn field to rape by a teenager at 8 o’clock pm on August 7, 2007 in Pou Chrey village, Som Povloun district’s Sirey Sophorn commune. The rape was succesful because in that time the victim’s parents arrived in time. The accused known as Yan Nin, 21, lives in Ou village, San Tepheap commune, Som Povloun district and the victim Hoeum Tom, 13, lives in Pou Chrey village, Som Povloun district’s Sirey Sophorn commune, said Pech Saren deputy police chief.
According to the victim’s complaint, police detained the rapist on August 11, 2007.
