Man Commits Suicide After a divorce

Phnom Penh: A man decided to commit suicide after he and his former wife got divorced and she has another husband, police said on Saturday. The bereaved family said that they found the body of the man on Aug 23rd at around 9:40 p.m. in their house in Dem Sleng village, Chba Meanchey district’s Ompov II commune. The deceased known as Yeam Chansery, 55, hanged himself with a cotton scarf at a staircase in his house. Police added that the divorce made him disappoint. Besides, his former wife took the two kids. The man got drunk every day and at the end he committed suicide.
