Man injured and robbed in Capital, property valued 2000$ lost

Phnom Penh: A 28-year-old man was seriously injured and a total of 2000$ lost in an armed bandit on Tuesday night in Phnom Penh’s Dangkor district. According to police, the victim, who is a private staff of a company in Phnom Penh, was on his way back from participating his relative’s wedding in Kandal province’s Kandal Stung district. Three men on a motorbike followed and stopped him. They pointed an AK riffle at him and attacked him twice pushing to the ground at 10 pm before made away with his motorbike, a laptop and a mobile phone valued about 2000$. The suspect was hospitalized and police are on the look for the robbers.
