Man Sentenced 12 Years in Jail for Killing Wife

Phnom Penh: The Supreme Court sentenced a 46-year-old man into 12 years in prison for intentional killing his step wife last year’s November in Pram Peymakara district, police said. Venh Che often did not get along with his wife known as Nhem Nareth, who pawned the house due to addiction to gambling. He stabbed his wife in her throat with a sharp knife. After the stabbing he leaved the house and was arrested when he joined her funeral.
