Man Serves three years in his wife’s unintentional murder

Siem Reap Province: Siem Reap court accused a man of unintentional murder and decided to sentence him three years in prison on November 19. The accused Khet Khai, 37, did not send his 41-year-old wife to the hospital after she was completely drunk in a nearby party in Tom Nubthmey village, Trapang Brasat district’s Trapang Brasat commune, in December 2007. His wife Nuon Phim was hospitalized and died on the way. The man was detained nearly two years after the death of his wife on December 13, 2007.
