Men arrested for killing scrap collector

Banteay Meanchey: Two men were apprehended on Saturday for allegedly badly injured a scrap collector in Banteay Meanchey’s Poipet town. Police said the two men aged 16 and 26 stabbed a 26-year-old scavenger in the stomach with a knife and escaped on Friday when the victim was walking alone. The victim was critically wounded unconsciously at the scene in the pool of blood. His relatives found him and sent to the hospital and filed a complaint with police. Police conducted an investigation leading to arrest the two suspects. The suspects confessed that they stabbed the victim because he took another man’s wife. Police sent them to the court for further investigation.
