Monk forced to Leave Pagoda

Phnom Penh: Buddhist populace, most of them are from Kien Svay district, gathered to force a monk to leave Prek Bra pagoda, located in Ou Andoung village, Mean Chey district’s Prek Bra commune. Those citizens accused the monk, known as The Ry, of torturing his patients, who believe that this monk could cure their disease. Prek Bra commune officer Keo Siphan said that Prek Bra monk thief and the committees asked the monk to leave the pagoda because he did not follow the contract and suggestion, which ask that he not torture the patients before he cure them. Still, he violated suggestion.
