More khmer beggers in Thailand

UNIAP said that begging earns much money in Thailand. A beggar earns 10,000 Baht per month, consequently, khmer beggars flow to Thailand. The study of 140 beggars in Thailand found that 80% of khmer beggars came with their relatives, 9% are handicapped, 41% are babies. They beg from 8-18hours, 22.6 earn 250-300 Bahts, 18.9% earn 751-1000 Bahts, while a baby earns 1500-2000 Bahts. The recent research found that Cambodian came to beg in Thailand are because of poverty not human trafficking.
