More than 40 houses desroyed in a blaze

Phnom Penh: About 40 houses near L.A garment factory opposite of Teuk Thla monastery in Sangkat Teuk Thla, Khan Russey Keo were burned down at 7:05 am on 30 July 2007. The report from the scene stated that there were many female factory workers fainted after learning that their shelters and properties were destroyed. The burning started from the house 14 owned by Pich Chenda,30, garment factory worker. She was working when her house was burnt. The fire fighter arrived late because they had to take water from the far area.
