NEC Orders Sam Rainsy to Compensate CPP Leaders

Phnom Penh: The National Election Committee ordered the opposition party leader Sam Rainsy to compensate, around 2500 US dollars, CPP leaders for the curse, which was against the election law, during the 2008 election campaign, according to a letter issued by NEC, which also said that after receiving the letter from NEC, the opposition leader is required to pay fine within 30 days. In case he does not compensate, NEC will practice the law. Sam Rainsy cursed PM Hun Sen, Heng Somrin, and Chea Sim.
