New Five-hundred Defectors to CPP

More 500 new members from Sam Rainsy and Funcinpec’s party defect to Cambodian People’s party. They are councils of commune and Meanchey district and activist of their former parties. The accepting ceremony was held in CPP’s headquarter in Khan Meanchey on March 7, 08. Mr. Chhuon Ty, member of Sangkut Chbar Ampov I council, said that why he leaves SRP because of mistakes of this party in people’s base which cannot be acceptable.
