Official: Cambodian Troops Calm down the Tension

Phnom Penh: Foreign Affairs Minister Hor Namhong has recently appealed to all Cambodian soldiers for being patient for the military confrontation at the border in the area of Preah Vihear Temple. Up to now there are around 4 000 troops of the two countries station at the dispute border. Thai side has showed up their cannons and tanks at the border. Information Minister and Government Spokesman Khieu Kanharith said that the armed confrontation is not better if Thai troops still station in Khmer territory.
