One of three Arrested in Connecting to Rape Case

Kampongcham Province: Chhean An, 23, was arrested on Sunday after more than years of escaping in relating to a rape case. According to an 18-year-old victim, one of the men known as Neang raped her while she returned from her rice field in Pou village, Srey Kunthor district’s Svey commune on December 12, 2006. Two of the rapist accomplices covered her mouth and held her arms, the victim said. Meanwhile, a motor taxi driver came and they fled from the scene. Kang Meas district police are ongoing to search for the other three suspects.
