Over 300 participants in violence against women campaign

Kampong Cham Province: More than 300 participants, mostly women, joined 16 days campaign against woman violence. This campaign was held in Prey Chhor village where many cases of domestic violence are occurred until they think that husband hit or fight his wife is simple no guilty at all. This campaign was created to commemorate to the 14 women who had been killed in Montreal, Canada, demanding for Women’s Right. Mrs. Leng Sokha, women affair department director in Kampong Cham, said that although we do our best to work against this, most of women still suffer from domestic violence.
